Welcome back to another edition of MERCH PARTY – a monthly round-up of all the best band merch comin’ to a venue near you, ’cause supporting your favorite artists in more ways than one is just part of bein’ a good fan! Let’s get into what’s good RIGHT NOW:
Got $55 to blow? Then Kurt Vile’s about to hook you up w/ a brand new Bottle It In skate deck! (Not exactly the ideal season to be East Coast kick flippin’, but you never know, good ol’ global warming just might keep the black ice patches at bay this winter.)
Alex Napping will open for Jay Som at Baby’s All Right on the 7th! I’ve definitely written about how much I love their CK-inspired dad hats before, but I feel like it bears repeating as a result of the upcoming gig – GRAB ONE NOW FOR $20!
NYC – Baby’s All Right, 12.7
Speaking of that upcoming Jay Som + Alex Napping show, I would be remiss not to mention that I am OBSESSED with this bus line tote. You can grab one for $15 // highly recommended in general, but especially if you need to cart a lot of holiday shit around this month!
If you know me at all, you’ll understand that hot dogs are my muse. (Spiritually, emotionally…all of the things.) And so it should come as no surprise that I FUCKING LOVE this $35 shirt (comes in both short and long sleeve, but I chose the latter because winter) from Snail Mail.
DC – 9:30 Club, 12.21
Margo Price has A LOT of rad merch, you guys. I’d seriously accept any/all of it as gifts. But I think the thing I like best, which feels slightly unusual for band merch, anyway, is this package of rolling papers! SO GOOD! And just $5!
