Welcome back to another edition of MERCH PARTY – a monthly round-up of all the best band merch comin’ to a venue near you, ’cause supporting your favorite artists in more ways than one is just part of bein’ a good fan! Let’s get into what’s good RIGHT NOW:

The Mowgli’s

If you’re a Mowgli’s fan and a collector of enamel pins, today is your lucky day, ’cause this cute little set is available ON SALE right now for just $7.

Chicago – Schubas 2.24
NYC – Baby’s All Right 3.1
DC – RnR 3.2

City of the Sun

Everything is happening, and this $20 T-shirt is everything. (Happening.) Very about the minimal design, and it earns bonus points for being black, which is basically the only thing I wear.

NYC – Brooklyn Steel 2.23

I tend to avoid package deals, specifically because they tend to not be “deals”, but I can’t really help myself when it comes to this bundle – the pullover, candle, poster and LP are all pretty rad. Even though $80 is steeper than I’d like to spend on band merch, I don’t think it’s that unreasonable considering what’s included.

DC – 9:30 Club 2.26
NYC – Brooklyn Steel 3.2
Chicago – Thalia Hall 3.8

Computer Magic

I love all Computer Magic’s merch (and much of its emphasis on her love of Japan and space), but I feel especially taken with this long-sleeve getup, available for $39.50.

NYC – Knitting Factory 3.3
Baltimore – Metro Gallery 3.25

Phoebe Bridgers

I AM LIVING FOR THIS $20 GHOSTS SHIRT, PHOEBE BRIDGERS. LI-VING. The bat wings one is equally swoon-worthy, hence I am including them both for my picks this month. SO SPOOKY, SO GOOD.

DC – RnR 2.20
NYC – Music Hall of Williamsburg 2.22, 2.23
Chicago – Lincoln Hall 4.18

Ella Vos

Very into this denim “You Don’t Know About Me” hat, partially because I like how it looks, but mainly because it’s the kind of thing that senior citizens will squint their eyes to read, then ponder its meaning (“WHAT don’t I know???”) and then eventually probably stop you to ask for clarification. “What does your hat mean?” And you can tell them, “I am just a mirage,” or “I invented the Magic Bullet,” or some other factoid that is untrue but potentially mildly believable in the moment.

DC – U Street Music Hall 3.5
NYC – Bowery Ballroom 3.8, Rough Trade 3.9
Chicago – Schubas 3.16

Coast Modern

Speaking of hats, I’m v. into these $20 ones from Coast Modern. In fact, all Coast Modern’s merch is pretty strong, so I’d suggest cruising that right here.

DC – 9:30 Club 3.19
NYC – Bowery Ballroom 3.22
Chicago – Bottom Lounge 4.7

Who’s on tour in NYC, DC and/or Chicago this month w/ dope merch that we missed? TELL US, DUH!
