Double Exposure, the United States’ first and only festival dedicated to investigative reporting on film, is going virtual this year; from October 14th to October 18th, you’ll be able to scope 17 documentaries, as well as exclusive conversations with filmmakers. Additionally, there’ll be panels, workshops, masterclasses and more as part of the online symposium, all right at home! (We’re also super stoked to be an official media partner/sponsor!)
Loads to look forward to; for example, opening night will feature 76 DAYS by Hao Wu, while closing night features the US premiere of ENEMIES OF THE STATE, directed by Sonia Kennebeck. The centerpiece will be Sam Pollard’s MLK/FBI.
You can grab single film tickets for $15 a pop, or snag a film pass for $75 to access all the films and all the discussions with filmmakers. You can also purchase a full festival pass (which includes access to the online symposium programming) starting at $150.
AND, BYT readers get a special 10% discount! Enter BYTDX20 at the checkout via Eventbrite while passes last.
(Note: if you’re purchasing tickets at the student rate, you can’t combine with the BYT code, BUT it’s a pretty hefty discount as-is, so don’t fret!)
Swing by the virtual box office.
