After shooting Cymbals Eat Guitars last January at 9th & Beats, I knew I had to shoot them again at DC9 with Grooms and DC locals The Silver Liners. They put on too good of a live performance to pass up. Plus, they were my first ‘bigger’ band I ever shot, so they’ll always have a special place in my heart.

Even without the ridiculous amount of fog and sound-reactive lights bought from clowns, it was just as fantastic of a live show. Not to mention, I could have sworn lead vocalist Joseph D’Agostino was going to die halfway through the set. He was sick, had coughing attacks and admitted to probably being contagious. If you feel sick and were at this show, congratulations, Cymbals Eat Guitars probably gave you the flu.
