The Black Cat 20th Anniversary Shows included a lot of surprises. One of our favorite surprises was a Shudder To Think original lineup reunion.

Shudder to Think kicked off their set with “Hit Liquor.” The unbelievable set continued with “Pebbles,” “Beauty Strike,” and “About Three Dreams.” After “X-French Tee Shirt,” they stepped off the stage for brief moments as the crowd prepared for themselves for an encore; however, I don’t think anyone was prepared to hear Craig Wedren announced they were having special guests on stage, Chris Matthews and Mike Russell. Wedren said, “You know, the first six years.” The encore consisted of “Red House,” “Lies about the Sky,” and “Day Ditty.” The band stepped on the stage for just one more encore, which included a cover of “Into You.”

Black Cat needs to have more anniversary shows.
