Priya Konings has been writing fantastic food pieces for BYT for a while, and they always come with a vegetarian spin; this is great for those of us who are of the herbivoracious persuasion, and/or are just trying to eat less meat and fish. Since it’s World Vegetarian Day, we figured there was no better time to revisit all her great work than right now! As such, we’ll direct you to her BYT archive, in which she’s explored the ins and outs of some of DC’s best vegetarian fare; from Puerto Rican to Malaysian to Georgian to Indo-Chinese to French to Mexican cuisine, she’s got her finger on the pulse.
