Power of Positive Drinking pt. 39: Finally, Some Real Sports! @ Port City Brewing

Finally! Finally we can stop pretending! You know what we’re talking about. For at least the next few years we can stop acting like any of us actually gives a dang who can throw a spiky stick the furthest or which country can coordinate the best underwater jazz hands routine. You are briefly free from that awkward anxiety you get when you start to think you’re the only one in your office who can’t find Paraguay on a map. It’s time to put aside obscure patriotic rivalries and sink into the soft, easy-chair embrace of the sweet, nacho-cheesy haze that is football season. So come let the Power of Positive Drinking and DC’s most superlative comedians ease the transition into the endless, pointless, but most importantly, all-American past-time of waiting to see the next round of bizarre Super Bowl commercials. At least until the winter of 2018.
