In like a lion out like a Silence of the Lambs!

March 2nd

Sometimes Pop-Up Comedy Show: In Like a Lion @ Wonderland Ballroom

March comes in like a lion. And that just sucks. I’m doing this 100 Days of Gratitude thing where I try to identify the things I am grateful for every day. You know what I miss? COMPLAINING. I want to complain about my job, this ridiculous weather, my sad state of my bank account… I’m sure there is stuff you’d like to complain about too. Come here the best comedians kvetch and roar their complaints. And also do some stand up that will get you laughing and feeling much better about your own problems. Hopefully March will leave like a lamb. But for now we fitna roar…

Featuring: Luis Gabriel Rojo, Danny Rolando, Dee Ahmed, Dana Fleitman, Josh Kuderna, Rob Maher, Petey Steele, and more . . . – FB

Hypnotist Flip Orley @ DC Improv (3-6)

No two Flip Orley shows are the same, which is why he’s been a DC Improv favorite since the 1990s. Flip uses hypnosis to turn audience members into the stars of the show. He leads volunteers through twisted scenarios, getting reactions that are almost beyond belief – and he does it all without humiliating anyone. Whether you’re on stage or watching from the audience, Flip’s show is unforgettable. And no, we weren’t hypnotized into writing this. – DC Improv
