Space… It may be the final frontier, but right now anywhere else is starting to look better then Earth. There’s people around the world that want to blow us up, people in our own country that want to shoots us, a weather-system that’s basically inverted itself, a justice system that only works for some, and a slew of power-hungry, attention-seeking, money-crazed jackasses who may have a frighteningly significant chance of coming to power. So what did we at The Power of Positive Drinking decide? We’re leaving this hellbent rock behind and in 2016 we’re gonna be the first comedy team to go galactic. Come out to Port City Brewing Company as we and some of DC’s most intrepid comedians blast off and become the human race’s boldest ambassadors. First stop: Mars. The weather is supposed to be nice this time of year. (FB)
As always, it’s FREE, with Karaoke after the flicks!

Sheryl co-hosts “The Talk,” a daily panel show on CBS. She’s a regular on the Steve Harvey Morning Show and hosts Sheryl Underwood Radio. And she’s also the CEO of Pack Rat Productions. On stage, Sheryl continues to push the envelope: Her show is a no-holds-barred look at sex, politics, current events and relationships. (DC Improv)

Robby hurt Alan BAD and now we need to raise money to fix Alan’s bones. Robby is big and heavy like a planet –Alan is little and scared like a baby deer made of glass. WE NEED TO FIX ALANS BODY! Please come with hundreds of dollars in cash so we can pay for a hospital to fix Alan and give him new metal bones. We LOVE Alan and we are just so sad that Robby shattered him. We are not upset with Robby, he didnt know Alan was asleep in his shoe–it’s NO ONE’s fault, thats obvious.
Please help us. Thank you

Each “match” has two comics doing five minute sets, and the audience picks the winners. It’s a showcase presented with the flair of pro wrestling, but probably less spandex. Our first three tournaments in 2015 were big successes … who will be our next champion? Featuring Natalie McGill, John Conroy, Jheisson Nunez, Rahmein Mostafavi, Hillary Scofield, Nik Oldershaw, Matty Litwack and Herbie Gill. (DC Improv)
