Christian is a pioneer of the “talking head” show, a sitcom actor, a Twitter all-star and one of our favorite stand-ups. (He even recorded an album right here at the club.) He puts on a sharp, original show. And we promise you, that show is a far better gift for Valentine’s weekend than whatever you were originally planning. Jewelry eventually gets pawned to cover gambling debts, but memories of a comedy show last forever. – DC Improv
Christian Finnegan’s episode of the Mental Illness Happy Hour is really great. – BYT
Love hurts. Love scars. Love wounds and marks. Ooo-oo, love hurts… What? Oh sorry. Was someone cutting onions in here? Okay. Be strong. You can do this. Hey guys! What’s up? Everything’s cool, right? It’s not like literally the worst holiday ever is coming up. Let’s focus on the positive. Like the fact that at least it’s a collective misery shared by a large portion of the population. Also, heart-shaped chocolates hit rock bottom prices soon. So come join at The Power of Positive Drinking as we bring the best DC comedic talent to our newest venue, Right Proper Brewing Co.’s new Production House in Brookland! Chances are there’ll be at least one other single person there… – FB

Come on a hilarious journey through love and life, but mostly love. As the show progresses, you’ll hear comedians tell jokes about when they were single, in a relationship, married, divorced, married again, divorced again, and then started living with 10 cats. Whether you’re in a relationship, openly single, or “taking a break to focus on yourself” but are secretly hoping someone will come sweep you off of your feet, you’ll enjoy this Valentine’s Day comedy show! Also, there’s a great beer selection and you probably don’t have work the next day because it’s President’s Day! Come laugh and then afterwards go Netflix and chill with your loved one…or someone you meet at this comedy show.
