We began the Dream Jukebox series in 2015. I picked 50 albums perfect for a 100 CD jukebox and had 50 artists and writers I like pick 50 albums. We published entries 00-49 of Volume 2. Lala Lala continues entries 50-99.

62 Lala Lala The Lamb

Full of laid back, brooding, personal songs with hopeful peaks, Lala Lala’s 2018 album The Lamb is equally suited in headphones and in bars. There are a lot of potential favorite songs on the album, giving the bar patron an opportunity to consistently turn someone on to their new favorite artist. One of the newest albums on the Dream Jukebox, the 2018 LP on the Hardly Art label lends credibility to the other 99 options.

Lala Lala’s pick

63 Grimes Visions

I’m in love with everything that Grimes has ever made but this album is such a classic. It’s original and underwater and brilliant. It’s so dreamy and fits any mood. If I could be anyone or meet anyone it would be Grimes.
