There’s a chill in the air. A spring in your step. A song in your heart. And a list full of presents in your pocket… But before you go out and throw yourself headfirst into the madness of the holidays, you might want to pull up your chair and have a drink. Or two.
It’s that magical time of the year where your favorite pop up bar on 7th Street transforms into a winter wonderland straight from your sugar plum dreams. The incredible team at Derek Brown’s Drink Company has been transforming this space into a holiday themed bar since 2015, and it’s quickly become one of our favorite D.C. traditions. They’ve done everything from Panda themed Christmas / Hanukkah decorations, to building life size gingerbread houses to Stranger Things themed decorations and everything in between.
This year, they’re celebrating the season with a Nationals themed bar that will surely be one of the most photographed rooms in D.C. On top of that, they’ve brought back their popular Chinese and a movie Hanukkah bar and a teddy bear room inspired by Children’s Hospital.
Miracle on 7th Street opens Friday, November 22 and runs through December 31st. Swing by for their Christmas Eve Eve party on December 23, all ticket sales will benefit the Washington Nationals Dream Foundation.
