Disclaimer: We’re not telling anyone to ever surprise someone with a pet. Obviously. We have never and will never do that.

The Montgomery County Animal Services and Animal Shelter does a great job of taking care of hundreds of abandoned and homeless cats in the area, but this summer they have been overwhelmed by the number of kittens at the shelter. In addition to looking for people who want to adopt kittens, the shelter is looking for prospective foster homes, so contact them if you are interested or willing. The smallest kittens have to be in foster homes to get the proper care.
