Welcome to your daily Hit List featuring the shows, events, gatherings, and so on that will keep your social life slightly above average!
And if you’re not about anything we show you now, there are tons of other events to check out on our AGENDA (side note: promoters/venues: posting events in the AGENDA is free and open to all-so please use it.)
- It’s a relatively quiet Monday night but there are some interesting picks. The most interesting is the Secret Monkey Social Club with Lukas B. Smith (currently of Dram & Grain and Jack Rose Dining Saloon, formerly beverage director of Daikaya) and Shayna Blass (actress, singer and dancer, appearing in Passion Play currently at Forum Theater) at Dolcezza Gelato. Six different punches will be available for purchase with Blass performing throughout the evening.
- The Torches say goodbye to band member Joe Barbee with a sendoff show at Galaxy Hut.
- The D.C. Environmental Film Festival presents Building Green at the National Building Museum. Fitting.
- If you’d rather watch a film about the arts, American Ballet Theatre at 75—A Documentary Film has it’s premiere at the Kennedy Center. Free.
