Welcome to your daily Hit List featuring the shows, events, gatherings, and so on that will keep your social life slightly above average!

And if you’re not about anything we show you now, there are tons of other events to check out on our AGENDA (side note: promoters/venues: posting events in the AGENDA is free and open to all-so please use it.

  • We’re interested in the Collaborative Beer Dinner at Roofers Union. Roofers Union’s executive chef Marjorie Meek-Bradley, Dave Delaplaine and Right Proper’s executive chef Sara Biglan with DC Brau, Atlas Brew Works, 3 Stars, and Right Proper. Sounds excellent.

  • Coheed and Cambria headline Echostage. We could joke about them being popular 10 years ago but that’s not funny. Good job, Coheed and Cambria. Good for you.

  • Another band that was popular a decade ago is at 9:30 Club. Good for you, Wolfmother. Good for you.
  • The American Art Museum has a gallery talk about Irving Penn: Beyond Beauty with photography curator John Jacob.
