And these days, who doesn’t want to feel better about drinking, we ask you? Even if they make pay 10 dollars, to stand in line to get a ticket to stand in line to get a drink to stand in line to…you get the picture.
The scene was (and always is) very “See and Be Seen” and the dresses are carefully chosen, the hairstyles carefully tousled (yipster style), and everyone precariously cradles their 5 dollar glass (from a 5 dollar bottle) of wine and looks over their shoulder to see who is looking at them.
