This is the one week you get to go all out and eat nothing but turkey. Enjoy it. Grab a beer, grab a turkey burger, and bask in the combined booze / food coma.
The turkey burger special for November is all out thanksgiving at Burger Tap & Shake. The “Thanksgiving on the Seine” burger is made of turkey, of course, and comes with granny smith apple, brie cheese, cranberry and clementine compote, and dijon aioli. Not sure what part of this is French, but that’s okay, I’ll take it. Their happy hour runs from 3:00 p.m. -6:30 p.m. on weekdays and features $5 drafts and drinks.
Go for either a classic turkey burger or live it up with the “Turporken” a twist on the turducken dinner classic that’s pretty festive. It’s turkey, pork and chicken patties with herb sage stuffing and chipotle cranberry aioli. Their happy hour runs from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. on weekdays and features $4 local and retro drafts, $5 house wine and bourbon nip of the week, or $6 selected cocktails.
Madfox’s turkey burger features black truffle herb butter, crispy shallots, and melted gruyere on a potato bun for a thanksgiving appropriate, decadent turkey fix. Stop by their happy hour from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Friday as well as 9 p.m. to 12 p.m. Monday through Thursday, and Wednesday is all day happy hour. Their drink specials include $2 off pints, $5 select wines and $6 select liquors.
The turkey burger at Logan Tavern is a classic, with provolone, onion marmalade and sweet & spicy mayo, if you’re into the classics. Their happy hour runs from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. on weekdays and 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. on weekends and features specials on beer wine and light snacks to share with your pals in true Thanksgiving style.
Social Burger has a special Thanksgiving burger for the month of November that features a turkey patty, cornbread stuffing, a choice of cranberry-jalapeno jelly or cranberry-orange jelly, and is served on a fresh rosemary brioche bun. It’s like a full Thanksgiving meal in your hand! They also have a pumpkin spice milkshake if you want to go all in for the fall flavors, but if you want beer or wine, they’ve got you covered as well.
