With Thanksgiving right around the corner, the only thing on everyone’s mind is turkey. And the only thing on my mind is beer. So let’s bring those things together with happy hours where you can also get turkey burgers. It really is the time of year to be thankful.
For the month of November, BTS has a special burger called the Plymouth Harvest. For only $8 you get a char-grilled turkey burger with stuffing, cranberry chutney and sage aioli. Happy hour is Monday – Saturday from 10 p.m. – close, but on Sunday you can get started early at 4 p.m. During their happy hour, all drafts are $5.
Continental Modern Pool Lounge
Wednesdays are college night at Continental in Arlington, which means half-priced burgers until 11 p.m. Spend your Thanksgiving Eve with a turkey burger priced around $5, free games, and bucket specials. Regular happy hour is Monday – Friday from 5 p.m. – 8 p.m. and Saturday – Sunday from 6 p.m. – 9 p.m., with varying drink specials every night.
Weekly happy hours run Monday – Friday from 3 p.m. – 7 p.m., and Saturday – Sunday from 4 p.m. – 7 p.m. But get excited for Monday nights at Logan Tavern, because their happy hour special is $5 burgers and draft beers. Their grilled turkey burger comes with a roasted red pepper relish, and you can add cheese because why wouldn’t you.
Happy hour at Nellie’s is Monday – Thursday from 5 p.m. – 8 p.m., Friday from 3 p.m. – 8 p.m., Saturday 11 a.m. – 8 p.m., and all day Sunday. But what’s really important is that Monday night’s special is half-price burgers. Nellie’s has a turkey Florentine burger, featuring sautéed onions, spinach, and Swiss cheese. I’ll take two, since their half-priced. That’s how it works, right?
During their Sunday – Friday happy hour from 4 p.m. – 7 p.m., you can get $5 happy hour bites, $5 rail drinks, $6 cocktails, and half-off draft and bottle beers. But seriously, their burger selection is out of this world. They’ve got beef, boar, bison, kobe, elk, falafel, and most importantly, turkey. The “learning to fly” is a turkey burger with Swiss cheese, avocado, granny smith apples, and remoulade.
