This upcoming weekend is kind of a big deal: our WE THE PARTY PEOPLE is this Saturday night and its Father’s Day Sunday — i.e. there’s a whole lot to be excited about. We’re celebrating ‘Merica and our dads, so for this week’s Happy Hour Hotline we want to combine those two things together. Here’s a patriotic/dad themed happy hour? Happy America, daddy!
Its named after a dad (one of America’s dads) so you know its gotta be good. Lincoln’s ultra patriotic drink menu and drink specials make it a perfect place to park your ass for happy hour this week. Happy hour starts Monday and goes through Sunday from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. and has $8 featured cocktails, $7 wines by the glass, $6 spirits, and $5 beers. May I grab a glass of Honest Abe’s Moonshine, please?
You can’t celebrate the good ol’ U S of A without some old fashioned BBQ, and Hill Country is the place to get it. Happy hour goes from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. with Shiner drafts at $6 glass/$20 pitcher, $3 PBR & Bud Lights, $4 house wines, and $5/$20 margarita pitchers. Dad would be proud you’re getting some BBQ after work, especially if there are great drink specials. Daddy didn’t raise no fool.
What if your dad likes other dads? Nellie’s has great food and drink specials, and their happy hour is from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.. Grab a burger, grab a drink, and chill out on the rooftop, its a free country, isn’t it? Daddy likes.
Land of the free, home of the steak. That’s on the Declaration of Independence, right? No? OK, well, anyway, BLT Steak has got your back for all of your happy hour needs. Their happy hour has its own special name too, “5 @ 5.” Specials go from 5 p.m. (shocker) to 6:30 p.m. at the bar, and includes house wine, Goose Island IPA, and the pomegranate gimlet all for (another shocker) $5. Plus, Dads love steaks, so you know he would approve.
Located right by Nat’s Stadium, Gordon Biersch is the perfect place to go before America’s favorite game! Plus they have great brews and burgers, which dad would love too. Their happy hour runs Monday through Friday from 3 p.m. to 6:30 p.m., so stop by on your way to see the Nats play ball.
