Gin is in season this week in D.C. Well, there’s no such thing as gin season, but there is the Ginworld Festival happening this weekend. We’ve decided to get into the festival spirit a little early by rounding up the best gin based happy hours to get you ready for the gin themed fun.

Gin Joint @ New Heights

New Heights is every gin-lover’s dream come true. The Gin Joint offers a menu of over 65 different gins to select from, which means you can experiment with as much gin as you can possibly drink every Monday through Sunday. Think of it as a smorgasbord of gin. Drink away!

New Columbia Distillers

Why not sip on some locally distilled gin to get into the gin-festival spirit? New Columbia Distillers, home to Green Hat Gin, offers happy hour specials on gin mixed cocktails every Saturday. Stay true to D.C. while drinking some damn good gin, what’s not to love?

Tonic

You can surely trust a place named Tonic to make a mean gin and tonic, right? The cleverly named eatery and watering hole holds happy hour every Monday through Friday from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m., which means you can go gulp down as much gin as you’d like every day. Order the Tonic G & T (London Dry Gin and lavender and lime tonic made in house), kick back, and relax.

Betsy

Gin, a rooftop bar, and happy hour. Betsy focuses on all things gin related and is home to more than 25 types of gin, gin cocktails, and more. Ditch work a little early and get over there by by 4 p.m. to down as much gin as you can before doing it all over again tomorrow.

Fiola

Want a break from the classic gin and tonic? Order a gin cocktail at Fiola and shake things up. Their negroni bianco (London Dry Gin, Dolin Blanc, and Cocchi Americano) offers a tasty twist on gin classics. It’s happy hour, so why not experiment with your drinks all while enjoying some sweet deals?
