Halloween has passed, but it’s not time to pull out your turkey decorations yet, we still have one more big event to get through. Election day. No matter which side you’re on, you’re probably going to want some drinks to make it through, so here are five places where you can watch the election coverage in the company of strangers and get drunk.
Beuchert’s is wheeling in TV especially for the election. That’s how much they care. They’ve also created a selection of election themed drinks like the “Bad Hombre,” the “Ken Bone Punch,” the “Grab Him by the Dickle” and the “I’m With Her.”
The Lincoln is conveniently located right near the future home of whoever wins on Tuesday night. They’re dedicating an entire room as a screening room, and they’re bringing in four extra televisions for the night to make sure nobody misses a minute of the evening. Food and drink-wise, they’re offering bottomless bar bites, Moscow Mules, and prosecco for $50 from 8 to 10 p.m. along with other candidate inspired food and drink options throughout the night.
Head to the very American sounding bar in Shaw for an all night happy hour, bottomless pizza, American Mules and draft beers. Pizza and beer is the ultimate American combo and they also are known to make pretty much anything better. Look it up.
Bar Pilar is running a late night happy hour from 9 p.m. until last call so you can keep on drinking as the results pour in. There will also be special election themed food available, so you can eat your feelings in an appropriate, themed way.
WILD CARD – 1905
If you want to effectively close your eyes and plug your ears until the whole ordeal is over and we’re in the future, then head to 1905 which is an Election-free zone. They have no televisions and will not be tracking the results, so you can basically seal yourself in a bubble until last call, if that’s how you want to play this.
