It’s almost December! Most people are probably still sleeping off Thanksgiving leftovers, but it’s time to start thinking about the important things in life – Christmas trees, holiday decorations, and, of course, drink specials. Check out these deals before you walk over to pick up your Christmas tree and start the season off right – drunk and festive.

Dacha Beer Garden

Old City Farm & Guild has you covered when it comes to all of your Christmas tree needs. If you’re really trying to get in the spirit before you pick up your tree, head over to Dacha – their happy hour runs from 4-7 p.m., and their deals are tough to beat, especially if you want to try as many beers as you can drink. Plus, they’ve got heaters and blankets so you can sit outside, even when it’s chilly.

Garden District

Where else can you take advantage of a full service beer garden and buy a Christmas tree at the same establishment? Happy hour runs from 5-6 on weekdays, and they’re serving up $5 half-liter beers and $5 brats with sauerkraut.

Red Light

Before you pick up all of your holiday supplies at Logan Hardware, head down the block to Red Light. Their happy hour deals run until 8 p.m. every day, including $6 rails, $4 pints, $6 glasses of wine, and $8 specialty cocktails. Don’t forget to try some of their happy hour exclusive snacks like their pesto and cheese flatbread and bacon wrapped dates.

Tenley Bar and Grill

Tenley Bar and Grill’s happy hour is long. Like, 3:30 to closing time on Mondays and Thursdays long. Take advantage of all of time time and try all they have to offer. From $3 domestic drafts and $5 rails to discounts on wine, appetizers, and craft beers, there’s something for everyone, including weekly trivia on Wednesday nights. After you’ve had your fill, walk down to Johnson’s Florist and Garden Center and pick out the perfect tree for your tipsy decorating escapades.

The Brig

Ring in the holiday season with happy hour at The Brig. Check out their $4 tallboys or, if you’re feeling fun, try one of the $11 liter deals. They’ve also got $5 sangria and $4 Bavarian pretzels (with cheese) so you can get a handle on your sobriety before you head over to Gingko Gardens and pick out the prettiest tree you can find.
