It’s the most wonderful time of the year, National Dog Day. Dogs are great. In many cases they are way better than people and sometimes better than cats (sorry Kitkat!). If there is any day of the year you absolutely need to take your dog out for some quality time its today. So get out there, guzzle some cheap booze, and hang out with your best friend in the world.
Red Rocks Neapolitan Bistro: Red Rocks is for real right across the street from a dog park, so after you’re done playing some catch (or attempting to play catch) with your pup just head right across the street between 4pm and 6:30pm for $4 peroni & brooklyn drafts, $5 well drinks, $6 negronis, and some awesome snacks ranging from $3-$9 ranging from roasted olives to an antipasti plate (depending on how fancy you want to get). Make sure to grab a seat out on the patio so you can surreptitiously sneak your bud food.
The Heights: Anytime between 4pm-7pm feel free to settle down on the patio with your pup and guzzle some $6 sangria, $5 bar snacks, and more. Plus the servers are totally cool with bringing your dog some water while you hang out.
Mintwood Place: Are you a fancy person with a fancy dog? Then Mintwood Place is perfect for the both of you. Chill out on the patio between 5:30pm and 7pm and enjoy some $5 glasses of house wine wine, $4 draft beers, or a $8 cocktail of the day.
Wonderland Ballroom: If you’re not a fancy person and your dog isn’t either, than the Wonderland patio may be your best bet. From 4pm to 7pm they offer $2 off drafts and rail drinks so you can get good and wasted with your best friend.
Dacha Beer Garden: Dacha is entirely outside so your pup will feel right at home here (and will probably get all the attention). Head on over between 4pm and 7pm for $5 singles and $10 boots of hefe, pils, and Hellbender.
