Bentzen Ball may be over (check out our Open Mic Happy Hour Hotline) but baseball season is isn’t quite over yet – funny how sports work, huh? So this week we’re bringing you a list of bars where you can cheer on your favorite baseball team. And if you’re just going along for the ride, this is what’s happening: the Houston Astros are playing the New York Yankees on Tuesday and the Chicago Cubs are playing the Pittsburgh Steelers Pirates on Wednesday in one-game Wild Card games. The ALDS begins Thursday and NLDS begins Friday.

Ivy and Coney – The place to go if you’re a fan of the Cubs or just a fan of the city of Chicago. Ivy and Coney is open from 4 p.m. until last call. According to our First Look, their “concept so simple it is probably genius: hot dogs and beer.” Heads up: it’s cash only.

Nellie’s – A not-really-bias-towards-any-particular-team sports bar, Nellie’s has a daily happy hour from 5 p.m. – 8 p.m.  Home of the Free, Land of the $15 Buckets of Bud.

Capitol Lounge – Known for being the spot for anyone who wants to cheer on Michigan-based teams, Capitol Lounge’s Monday – Friday 4 p.m. – 7 p.m. happy hour offers $1 all drinks.

Tortoise & Hare Bar & Grille – Welcoming to all Pirates and non-Pirates fans alike, Tortoise & Hare’s Monday – Friday 4 p.m. – 7 p.m. happy hour serves up $3 draft and bottled beers and $4 house wine.

Blackfinn – Blackfinn is ideal for Houston Astros fans, but if you need to do some convincing just tell your friends that they can get $3 Miller Lites at the Monday – Friday 4 p.m. – 7 p.m. happy hour. Let them think what they want of that.

51st State – The place to go for any displaced New Yorker’s or just anyone who likes the Yankees. 51st State also plays Giants and Jets games throughout football season. Happy hour is Monday – Sunday from 4 p.m. – 7 p.m. This is where you will find the clones of that one friend of yours who lives in D.C. but never shuts up about New York.

Penn Quarters Sports Tavern – Go here if you’re a St. Louis Cardinals fan or recommend it to someone who is. Their Monday – Friday 4 p.m. – 7 p.m. happy hour menu has $4 Miller Lite, $5 Blue Moon, and $5 Jack Daniels.
