The Mautner Project has been providing health services to LGBT people for 25 years. They’ve created workshops and health education as well as taken it upon themselves to educate healthcare professionals about the unique health needs of the LGBT community, to name a few. Now it’s time to celebrate these wonderful people with a kickass party, damn it.

For 25  years The Mautner Project have been tireless supports of the queer women’s community which is why they celebrate the work influential women every year at their annual gala. This year they’ve ramped it up a bit because it seems like the only thing that was missing was DANCING! This Friday September 25th at Dock Five you can join the cause AND have a great time as they honor Eboné F. Bell (managing editor of Tagg Magazine), Schroeder Stribling (executive director of N Street Village) and Major Jamie Lee Henry (the first active duty Army officer to come out as transgender). Plus, as previously stated, dance the night away to The Gem Fatales and DJ DeeDub! And since dancing/celebrating can get exhausting they’ve taken the liberty of providing multiple food stations AND open bars. Tickets are still available but we know you’ve got big ol’ hearts so we want to send you for free! To win a pair tell us in the comments section below what song you would request to DANCE YOUR ASS OFF to. Remember, everyone knows the DJ, especially THIS DJ.
