The Kennedy Center’s SHIFT Festival is bringing together 4 distinct orchestras from all over the country. Events are happening all week long and we’re not just talking music, but it’s damn good music. We’re talking a guided musical hike TONIGHT led by the Boulder Philharmonic, a conducting workshop with the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra and more!!! Tickets are on sale for all performances but we know you’re cultured as f*ck so we have tickets for the 4 orchestra concerts!
- Tuesday March 28 – Boulder Philharmonic
- Wednesday March 29 – North Carolina Symphony
- Friday March 31 – Atlanta Symphony Orchestra & Chorus
- Saturday April 1 – The Knights
Four lucky winners (yes you get a plus 1, we’re not monsters) are going to have the opportunity to listen to music influenced by an entirely different part of the country! Hey, I’ve never been to Atlanta or Boulder and this is an easy way to go. To win a pair of tickets to one of the performances, tell us in the comments section below what is your favorite American city and why. Don’t forget to mention which show you’d prefer to see. We’ll do our best to accommodate you! My favorite city is New Orleans because it combines my love of vampires with my ongoing interest in someday being interred in a mausoleum. Best answers win. Good luck!
