This week’s funny human of the week is Quincy Jones, an LA-based comedian who has made headlines this week with the hugely successful launch of a Kickstarter to fund the recording of an hourlong comedy special before he dies of cancer. He was told in July 2015 that he had terminal cancer, with one year to live.
Let’s watch a clip of Quincy, midway through his 2013 mission of doing 1,000 shows in a year! Here’s him performing at the Meltdown in Los Angeles!
Speaking of which, let’s take a look at this 1,000 shows in 365 project, here’s an episode of a web series dedicated to covering this massive undertaking!
Here’s another short video about his health struggles, which features a short conversation with Quincy about his experiences enduring chemotherapy and the other difficulties of living with cancer.
Before we go, here’s another standup clip of his, which I really enjoy. Please consider donating to the Kickstarter campaign, this dude is seriously funny and one hundred percent deserves to live his dream.
