It’s still summer out there my friends, I hope you’re making the best of it! One thing to look forward to as the seasons change is the forthcoming release of Comedy Central’s newest batch of half hour standup specials, featuring a ton of former and future Funny Humans of the Weeks. Included in the very exciting crop of performers that includes past Funny Humans like Dulce Sloan, Jaboukie Young-White, and Sara Schaefer, is Charles Gould, a standup comic, writer, and actor who we’re going to get to know a little bit better here today.
Charles made his late night television debut on Jimmy Kimmel Live back in 2017 and it was really something weird and special.
Here’s my favorite episode of the very good web series called Charles, by the Way that Charles stars in, made in conjunction with the long-running NYC standup showcase Live @ The Apt.
More web serieses please! This is an installment of Tips for a Happier & Healthier You, a series Charles made about self care for Comedy Central.
Our new friend Charles is popping off all over social media (specifically Instagram and Twitter). Let’s take a quick sample of what he’s been doing on those sites, shall we?
One day, hopefully soon, I'll learn when you're supposed to use a hyphen – and when you're supposed to use a comma.

A lot of people don’t know this about me, but I invented the dance the Pop & Lock in Queens, NY in 1982. I was at a party and when the music came on, I felt the urge to jerk like a robot, but not do the robot. It was an exciting time for New York, and Hip Hop, and I’m humbled to have played a small part.
RT if you don't give a fuck. Fav if you don't give a shit.

And just as we began our session with a standup clip, we will end with one too. This one’s got some poetry in it too!
