- Thursday, November 2 – Halloween might be over but we highly recommend you see zombie film Train to Busan at the Korean Culture Center.
- Friday, November 3 – Go back to Suns to see one of my favorite movies, Chinatown.
- Saturday, November 4 – Keep your noir streak going with The French Connection at Suns.
- Saturday, November 4 – See Eisenstein’s Old and New set to music at NGA.
- Sunday, November 5 – Kick off your week with Suns‘ screening of The Maltese Falcon.
- Sunday, November 5 – NGA is screening The Nine Muses.
- Tuesday, October 31 – Go to the S Street Pet Costume Contest! This contest is open to animals beyond dogs, so if you’ve dressed your parrot up like a pirate or your chinchilla up in a fur coat, you can enter them in this Dupont Circle costume contest tonight at 5:30 p.m.
- Tuesday, October 31 – District Karaoke is throwing a Halloween Bingo & Scaryoke party and it sounds fun.
- Wednesday, November 1 – Eat free chicken at Nando’s.
- Wednesday, November 1 – A Dia de los Muertos procession makes its way through Petworth. Hell yeah.
- Wednesday, November 1 – Public and Hungry Skinny at playing Black Cat.
- Wednesday, November 1 – Brazilian band Cankro join Red Death, Iron Cages and Witchtrial at The Pinch.
- Wednesday, November 1 – Upstate Rubdown takes over Above the Bayou. Their name squicks me out a little bit, but what do I know.
- Thursday, November 2 – Make your way over to DC9 to see Black Dog Prowl, InterfÆce and Stone Driver.
- Thursday, November 2 – Loud Boyz, Cool Moon and Pee Circles are at Black Cat. I don’t know if I love Pee Circles or I hate Pee Circles. I think I love it.
- Thursday, November 2 – Catch Sir EU, Roz & The Rice Cakes and Shana Falana at Paperhaus.
- Friday, November 3 – Slash Run hosts GLOVE, Faunas and Ulta Beauty. Ulta Beauty is a makeup store. I have a lot of follow up questions.
- Friday, November 3 – Go back to The Pinch to catch Sharptooth, Motives, Roseview, Mostly Dead and more.
- Friday, November 3 – An acoustic show called November Rain is happening at The Lobster Trap and I’m very into everything that’s happening here.
- Saturday, November 4 – Catch a matinee punk show at Slash Run with Vacation, CHILL PARENTS and The Sniffs.
- Saturday, November 4 – The Void is throwing a Halloween party with Talk to Plants, Tomato Face, Zephyranthes, Mercury Retrograde and Standees. Tickets are $6.66.
- Sunday, November 5 – Words, Beats and Life festival comes to the Kennedy Center if you want to catch some sweet break dancing.
