  • Monday, April 10 – Nocturnal Animals is screening at Chevy Chase Library. It’s a very good film but man I bet it’s uncomfortable to watch in close quarters with some strangers.
  • Tuesday, April 11 – If you need something to cheer you the hell up after Nocturnal Animals, head to the West End Library for Four Weddings and a Funeral.
  • Tuesday, April 11 – Suns is showing Santa Claus Has Blue Eyes just in case you feel like getting in the holiday spirit a little early.
  • Thursday, April 13 – The National Building Museum will be showing A Legacy of Mies and King, which is all about the renovation of the MLK Jr Library.
  • Friday, April 14 – If you’re into movies with a lil bit of brother / sister love then go see The Dreamers at Suns.
  • Saturday, April 15 – Don’t have anything to do tonight? Head to the Mt. Pleasant Library for a screening of Rogue One.
  • Saturday, April 15 – Get your French New Wave on at the Masculin Féinin screening at Suns.

  • Monday, April 10 – Go see Cafe Race, Dwellingville and The Dune Flowers at Slash Run for $5.
  • Wednesday, April 12 – Mommy, Closet Christ, Prision Postumo, Rashomon and Dealer are at Slash Run. I don’t know any of these bands but Closet Christ sounds intriguing.
  • Wednesday, April 12 – The DC Bike Party is throwing their Cherry Blossom Chase ride. Go get your bike.
  • Wednesday, April 12 – Kit and Ace is Shaw is hosting a conversation about healthy eating featuring some free bites! To RSVP email [email protected]
  • Thursday, April 13 – Go dance to some awesome Columbian music at Tropicalia.
  • Friday, April 14 – Joe Lally, Lithics and Park Snakes are at Slash Run if you’re into it.
  • Friday, April 14 – A band called Free Lobster Buffet is playing The Pinch and I’ve never loved a band name more.
  • Saturday, April 15 – It’s the Tax March on Washington.
  • Saturday, April 15 – If you need something fun to do after marching, Rhode Island Ave is celebrating PorchFest.
  • Saturday, April 15 – Go listen to some loud people be loud at The Pinch.
  • Saturday, April 15 – Celebrate Colony Club‘s second birthday with a party! Timber Pizza Company will be there as well as some DJs and drink specials and more.
  • Saturday, April 15 – Capital Fringe is throwing a spring / Bauhaus themed party if that sounds like something you would be into.
  • Saturday, April 15 – Go hear some hip hop and poetry at The Fridge! There’s gonna be a birthday cake.
