  • Every Monday in October – Dodge City will hold a Halloween Movie Monday every Monday this October with no cover. Each night will begin with an episode of Are You Afraid of the Dark? followed by a cheesy Halloween movie. Free candy, too.
  • Friday, October 31stFear at the Freer! Come get in the Halloween spirit with a screening of the movie that inspired the American thriller The Ring. Also, learn about spooky objects in the Freer Gallery, make your own Freer-inspired mask, and enjoy Japanese food for sale from the Tokyo in the City food truck starting at 5 pm.

  •  Thursday, October 30th- Free Wine and Cheese Tasting at Sonoma Restaurant and Wine Bar. End National American Cheese Month with a bag and try some free artisanal cheeses. Starts at 4:30pm.
  • Friday, October 31st–  The DC Sip: Wine tasting and sale at Paul’s Wine and Spirit’s in Friendship Heights.  Starts at 5:30pm.
  • Friday, October 31stCapital Harvest on the Plaza at Woodrow Wilson Plaza at the Ronald Reagan Building and International Trade Center. Come get some recipes, watch cooking demonstrations and get some great food from a variety of vendors. 11am-3pm.

  • Saturday, November 1stDC Meet Market in the St. Luke’s Episcopal Church parking lot at 15th and P street. Over 40 local vendors. 11am-5pm.
  • Saturday, November 1st The K Street Farm Festival. Come celebrate the Fall harvest and see all the healthy food that is grown right here in the Nation’s Capital. This event also features culinary demonstrations, herb garden tours, live music and a pig roast.  Runs from 1-5pm.
