Welcome to an alcohol-fueled weekend, DC Brunchers! Our huge beer event, the Snallygaster Gargantuan Beer Jamboree, is this weekend, AND we just released the 2014 guide to the Least Douchey Bars in DC. If that’s not enough, here are five places to get your boozy brunch on. Stay thirsty, DC.
- MIMOSA – Ris
These aren’t your typical mimosas. The libations at this L Street NW come in flavors such as Peach Vanilla and Apricot Ginger. Bottomless Mimosas are available Sundays for just $18. If that’s not your thing, the menu also features $25 Sangria Pitchers and a slew of other Brunch cocktails.
- BLOODY MARY – The Source
The Saturday Dim Sum Brunch at The Source is exciting for many reasons besides its $8 Bloody Marys. You can read our full review here for more detailed descriptions of dishes like “Crystal Chive Dumplings,” but trust us that the “classically delicious and spicy” Bloody Mary is a must-drink.
- BELLINI – Urbana
The Bellini Bar at Urbana, with its seasonal variety of fruit purrees, is practically another wonder of the world. Bottomless drinks are $17, and serve as the perfect accompaniment to the adventurous dishes available Saturdays and Sundays. Check out our full review here.
- BOTTOMLESS – Agora
The Bottomless Brunch ($32.99) at Agora encompasses not only their vast array of mediterranean tapas, but all brunch cocktails. Choose from Mimosas, Bloody Marys, champagne, house vodka, gin, tequila, and house gin & vodka martinis. Be aware that Bottomless Brunch is only available if the whole table participates, so choose wisely when assembling your brunch crew.
- SPECIAL – La Tagiatella
We all love the sound of “Breakfast for Dinner,” but what about “Dinner for Breakfast [Cocktail]”? The Caprese Martini at La Tagliatella is a creamy, tomato-based martini with basil, reminiscent of evenings in Tuscany / last week’s Italian dinner. Read our taste test of this special drink, and dare to switch up your mimosa routine this weekend.
