  • Bar Charley
Looking for brunch all weekend and on Memorial Day? This little gem on 18th Street will get you a la carte deliciousness, as well as a just-under-$25 deal which includes an entree, a basket of cheddar biscuits, and bottomless mimosas, Bloodies, Bloody Beers, or coffee. Go for classic dishes like Steak N Eggs (Hangar Steak with beef jus, fries and horseradish cream) and roasted mushroom omelette (with Idiazabal, micro mix and home fries), or opt for their more unique offerings like their Hangover Cure Burger (served with fried egg, bacon and jalapeño) or the Chesapeake Fries (with Old Bay gravy, Ricotta salata, and Blue Crab). Oh, and if you get a chance to order one of their signature cocktails, it’s worth wandering off the beaten prix fixe path for one or two.
  • Cava Mezze Restaurant
Speaking of bottomless, we found the best bottomless drink deal in the city. A brunch Taste Test at Eastern Market’s Cava Mezze Restaurant revealed a diverse Mediterranean brunch filled with small plates available a la carte or keep-’em-coming unlimited (though the bottomless plates must be ordered by the whole table to receive this deal). What’s the best part about it all? Most of your standard brunch cocktails will set you back only one penny.
    From our review:
“Tricky Virginia liquor laws forbid ‘bottomless brunches,’ meaning Virginia is for lovers of wholesome, unadulterated, sober ‘fun.’ Fortunately, Cava Mezze found a way around that. And, in solidarity with its Virginia location, the Eastern Market spot also features the penny refreshments. Along with your $30 unlimited-plates brunch, be sure to bring your change jar. On the bottomless-ish menu, every dish is worth exploring. Not a fan of salmon? Someone at the table will be. Not a fan of Eggs Benedict with the yolk running into your Canadian bacon and tomato? Well, you’re insane, and there’s no helping you now.”
  • The Bombay Club
And if you’re in the mood for something completely different, The Bombay Club offers Indian brunch every Sunday now through June 14. Not only will you sample dishes from varying regions of India; you’ll taste a menu from Executive Chef Nilesh Singhvi, formerly of Taj Hotels. This Sunday’s menu comes from Punjab, famous for its Tandoori–this means you can expect this along with Lamb Chops Masala, Aloo Gobi (spiced cauliflower), and Dal Makhni (black lentil) and, because it’s The Bombay Club, you know it’ll be well executed and authentic.
  • Lincoln Restaurant
Still looking for Memorial Day fun? While Lincoln won’t be serving brunch on Monday, if you stop by Sunday you’ll find a Memorial Day brunch party with DJ Neekola from 11:00am to 4:00pm. Dance or just take it all in as you eat your way through Shrimp and Grits, Bourbon Banana Waffles, a variety of deviled eggs, their Brunch Grilled Cheese, seasonal jams in mason jars, and more.
  • Degrees
Or get your dose of unique with yoga and brunch in Georgetown. The Ritz-Carlton’s new $45 package deal includes an hourlong vinyasa yoga class in its urban garden, followed by brunch with items like Brioche French Toast and The Fitness Breakfast (an egg white omelette served with granola, yogurt and berries). BONUS: This brunch includes bottomless mimosas. That’s $45 for a yoga class and brunch at the Ritz-Carlton and bottomless mimosas.  Reservations are required so call (202) 912-4110 to secure your spot.
