The St. Gregory Hotel in Dupont has opened Tredici Enoteca, a Mediterranean wine bar serving up Italian, Middle Eastern and Greek food in a super pretty, freshly renovated setting. The architecture and decor in the 4,500 sq foot space is inspired by the Tuscan countryside and features white oak herringbone floors, marble counters and floor to ceiling windows.
Executive Chef Carlos Aparicio created a menu that includes Middle Eastern cumin carrots with yogurt and cilantro, Moroccan spiced pork ribs, gnocchi, a few flatbreads, and a daily oyster selection. They serve breakfast every weekday, this is a hotel after all, and brunch on weekends with options like smoked salmon, challah french toast and ricotta pancakes. So basically, everyone can probably find something they like any time of day. Since this is a wine bar, they have an extensive selection of wines, some of which are displayed on the fancy shelves. They also serve a selection of gorgeously presented cocktails, and a few craft beers.
Tredici Enoteca is located in the St. Gregory Hotel, 2033 M Street, NW, open Monday through Friday 6:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m., Monday through Friday 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., daily, from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m. and for brunch Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
