The whiskey selection at Jack Rose is outstanding. Anyone who has been to the Adams Morgan establishment and has functioning eyes knows this. This is not news. Not everyone who has visited Jack Rose knows about the basement. Jack Rose has The Whiskey Cellar. This is news.
One of the neat features of The Whiskey Cellar is the four rotating whiskey taps. This month features standard picks from the Jim Beam family.
The Jim Beam family is also highlighting in a hard-to-find, highly desirable selection. Commemorative special batches of Booker’s, Maker’s Mark and Jim Beam will be available through the end of the month before a new family of whiskey curates selection. If you’ve been looking for a Gold Label Maker’s Mark that was previously only commercially available in Japan, you’re in luck. Missed out on Jim Beam Distiller’s Masterpiece 18 yo Cognac Finish Bourbon? Find it here.
Just like the other two floors of the bar, small plates of savory food are available in The Whiskey Cellar. Highlights include the Peppadew Peppers and the Crisp Pork Belly.
The Whiskey Cellar at Jack Rose is open Thursday though Sunday from 6pm until midnight.
