May 16 is the International Day of Light. It’s also the opening day of the newest ARTECHOUSE exhibit: Naked Eyes. This is not a coincidence.
Nonotak’s Naked Eyes is all about light. In partnership with the Optical Society, the American Physical Society, and the American Institute of Physics, it’s, “an effort to help connect the science behind the art to visitors of the art space.” Like every ARTECHOUSE exhibit, it’s immersive, putting the patron in the midst of the art.
This exhibit does come with a warning. It’s not recommended for people with light or photo sensitivity and may potentially trigger seizures for people with photosensitive epilepsy.
