Del Frisco’s DoubleEagle Steakhouse is opening September 19th at CityCenter (which is having a veritable food explosion happening there right now, with DBGB having just opened as well).  The steakhouse’s DoubleEagle more upscale concept may be new to the DC area (they have the more casual Grille open here) but the same bold and delicious flavor remain.  This new location has three floors including two bars, a lounge, a wine cellar, private dining rooms (with a side, secret service worthy entrance) and board room, and a courtyard patio.
What can you expect? The menu includes a wide range of fresh seafood (including regular caviar service) as well as many different cuts of steak (all beef comes from Stock Yards in Chicago, and the prep is kept simple: the only seasonings are salt & pepper). On the imbibing side, Del Frisco’s Double Eagle also offers a variety of cocktails in addition to their extensive award-winning wine list. Â With more than 1,200 labels on their list as well as a great beer selection (including some local favorites like Port City Porter, Flying Dog Old Scratch Amber Lager and Dogfish Head 60 minute IPA), they’re bound to have the perfect drink to complement any meal.
Behold the gorgeous decor of the 18,000 sq. ft restaurant right this way:
