Welcome to BYT’s newest “hot damn, how could I live without this” column, Eating Out. We’ll be highlighting one food or booze special event every night of the week. From the best happy hours in the city to the uber expensive $500 per person tasting menus, there is something good to eat or drink every single night in this city and we want to help you find it. And yes, we get the joke.

It’s Pi Day. Go eat Pizza.

Cocktails & Craft @ Colony Club

Shake off that fake ass snow day by getting buzzed and making something cool at Colony Club. This week you’ll learn how to make paper flowers and drink an Omaha Sour. We recommend decorating your room with your brand new paper flowers because unlike most things in life, they will never wither away and leave you.

thursdayEat at ShopHouse

It’s your last day to eat at ShopHouse. After this they’ll be gone forever. I guess a lot of people hated it, but ShopHouse was BYT’s favorite fast casual spot. The ShopHouse bowl was fucking good and everyone who worked there was nice. We’re going to miss you, friend.

fridayShamrock & Roll @ Buffalo & Bergen

We’re helping Buffalo & Bergen throw a St. Patrick’s Day party! There’s going to be drunken merriment and revelry, but most importantly, Suburbia is cranking out frozen Irish coffees and goddamn am I excited to have at least three. It’s not going to suck, we promise.

saturdaySpring / Summer Release @ New Columbia Distillers

Head on over to your favorite local distillers to celebrate their annual summer release! Despite the fact that we kicked the week off with a gross slushy snow combo, spring is technically here. They’ll have free tours, tastings, and $5 happy hour cocktails. Give me all the gin.

sundayNew Kitchens On The Block @ Mess Hall

Get a sneak peek at all of the new restaurants coming to D.C. at Mess Hall. From The Salt Line to Sugar Shack, you’ll get two hours to eat and drink everything you possibly can. It’s kind of a magical afternoon and if you’re the kind of person who needs to try everything first, this is not to be missed.

Your week looks delicious.
