It has been a long week, and the weekend begins tonight, with plenty of events happening in DC such as the much anticipated Howard Theater kick off party (we are more than excited about that), and the WW Club menswear style speakeasy!  While you prepare for your night out here are some style inspirations by our favourite ladies! Dont forget to check out their blogs where you can check out more style inspirations for this spring. (Oh and if you are a street style blogger and would like to participate in these let us know, email [email protected]).

KATIE WARREN FROM GO KATE SHOOT

‘As I prep for the WW Club menswear style speakeasy I’m hosting with Elise Peterson this evening, I can’t help but notice that Washington has loads of stylish men…even more than I anticipated. I’m getting tweets, emails, and messages from them all excited about their new shoes/pants/hat that they’re planning on rocking tonight. I’m glad! Here are some stylish men I photographed around town in the last week or so. From Grant of Streets of Georgetown in a serious custom double breasted suit to graffiti legend Kelly Towles in his fedora, or a stylish vintage couple at the Corcoran Ball, the range is wide but all of it is exciting. Thank you for being wonderful, stylish people of Washington. I can’t wait to see what everyone wears out tonight! If you don’t already have a ticket, get one HERE and come out…we’re giving you an occasion to get dressed.

THE PRESIDENT WEARS PRADA

High top sneakers on men has been a big inspiration for us lately. These shots from the Hu’s Wear Yigal Azrouël Preview are some of the best we’ve seen. This example is worn with jeans, but don’t be afraid to wear them with shorts! See the rest of our street style shots for this week on The President Wears Prada.

CHERALEE LYLE  FROM LYLE STYLE

“It felt like spring had officially sprung on Saturday, and what says spring more than floral prints! I threw in some nautical stripes too, just for fun. This is about as far as I will go with the pattern mixing trend before it gives me a bit of a headache. This outfit was worn on a little road trip I took this weekend and was perfectly comfortable for traveling and exploring.”

MELANIE FROM LA BELLE MEL

A rainy day can dampen anyone’s mood so I always like to make an effort to wear something bright to go about my day. And what’s bright and cheery but the color yellow against the hot pink pants. Also is it me or adding leopard to any outfit seems to glam it up a bit.

What she is wearing:

Zara striped blouse (recent)
H&M bright pink pants (recent)
Ivanka Trump leopard pumps (similar)
Rebecca Minkoff crossbody bag
Loft necklace (old)

LINDA FROM NOMNOMBLINGBLING

A while back, I mentioned I love pairing yellow and purple together. They were my favorite colors I loved pairing together growing up and nothing has changed=) If you’re hesitant to play with bright or bold hues, start with one bold color and incorporate the other color withease. The yellows from my top are noticeable but it’s not over the top where the the only color you see is yellow. The cream color offsets the yellow and tones it down. I also couldn’t resist adding a bit of “bling” to the outfit;)
