DC Shorts Festival kicked off this past Thursday (AND-it goes on till this Thursday so make sure to check out some of their programming)and hosted a (Celebrity themed) party at the Madame Tussaud’s Wax Museum to celebrate. It was one of those surreal type evenings where we are pretty sure the actual Dame Edna (soft confirm) was walking around with United states presidents doppelgangers (excellent job on George W. Bush and and honorable shout out to Sarah Palin for making it into the mix) and people kept leaving sliders in George Clooney’s hand and we could not stop staring at Beyonce’s camel toe.

Considering that a while back we did one of the finest, most obnoxious BYT photo posts ever at the Wax Museum (for the Marion Barry statue unveiling, and trust me, you want to click on that link)….

….we felt we needed to make our second coming to the place as strong as we could since, well, we’re bound to be banned from it someday soon. So, without further a do, the filmmakers, filmgoers and hangers-on getting really, REALLY up-close and personal with some of the Wax Museum’s finest:
