WHEREIN: We bring you the developments (happening in and around D.C.) that we think are newsworthy, or, at the very least, almost newsworthy…

  • District Growers have just released a line of weed infused cold pressed fruit / veggie juices. For those of us who want to get high and look trendy as fuck. (via City Paper)

  • Guess what, guys!!! The streetcar is MONTHS away from being open. I just can’t take the excitement anymore. The possibility that I might get to ride on the streetcar before I die of old age is just too much. I don’t think I can handle it. (via WAMU)
  • Here are the 33 things DDOT has to fix before they can even consider opening the streetcar. Now this is the DC I know and love. (via Greater Greater Washington)
  • Tosca has a new foie gras candybar and I’m honestly kind of disappointed with myself for wanting to try it. Ignoring the fact that foie gras is incredibly inhumane (because no one cares about animals if they’re delicious enough!), foie gras is the new truffle oil. Chef’s think it will make a dish cool and trendy, but it really just unoriginal. That doesn’t mean I won’t dream about eating it tonight, it just means I’m trying to seem cooler than that. (via Washingtonian)

  • The Royal tweeted something about Bill Cosby and people were, understandably, upset. What is up with restuarant twitter accounts trying to seem edgy? (via Washingtonian)
  • Wale is working on a go-go album. Definitely sounds cooler than an album about Seinfeld. (via Bandwidth)
  • Rasika is reopening tonight and not only is it going to look different, but the menu has been revamped as well. Get ready to spend all of your money on palak chaat and love every minute of it. (via City Paper)
