WHEREIN: We bring you the developments (happening in and around D.C.) that we think are newsworthy, or, at the very least, almost newsworthy…
- Ian MacKaye still has a fan letter that baby Dave Grohl sent him. Good thrash man. (via DC Music Download)
- Metro is banning all religious and political ads on its buses and trains after an anti-Islam group tried to get one of its racist ads on Metro buses. Way to ruin it for everyone else, jerks. (via WAMU)
- The Washington Nationals now have their own brand of wine. I’m always pro more booze. (via Washingtonian)
- Charnice Milton, a D.C. journalist, was shot and killed today while waiting for a bus Good Hope Road. As of right now, police are saying that it the gunman was aiming for someone else and accidentally hit Milton. (via Washington Post)
- Local bands hate condos. Same here, friends. (via City Paper)
- John Wall and his crew got in a “verbal altercation” (AKA A FIGHT) on a plane in Vegas and was kicked off. Do not mess with flight attendants. They mean business. (via Washington Post)
- Some dude is bringing a “vinegar revolution” to D.C. I don’t know what that means, but I love vinegar, so bring it on. (via City Paper)
- The Washington Post has a helpful round up of free summer concerts. How nice. (via Washington Post)
