  • We’re starting off with bad news. West End Cinema will be closing at the end of the month. It’s last showing will be on May 26th. This sucks. West End Cinema was an important part of DC’s independent movie scene and it will be terribly missed. (via City Paper)

  • Mayor Bowser has no plans to extend our beloved and constantly used streetcar line. I guess you can’t miss what you don’t have? (via WAMU)
  • Pot activists are upset about Mayor Bowser plans to close a loophole that would allow for pot clubs. They may or may not be planning a public smoke in. (via Washington Post)
