Where we talk about stuff (happening in and around D.C.) we didn’t write about but is still something you may care to get all riled about and comment on. So, without further ado – today, in other D.C. media sources:

  • Starting your Wednesday news off with a bang, here’s VP Joe Biden making a lubrication joke…? (via HuffPost DC)
  • Medical marijuana is yet another step further from legalization in the District; D.C. City Council passed a new legislation yesterday restricting cultivation centers where city officials hope new (non-weed) retail will grow. (via Washington City Paper)
  • And it looks like we’re in for a hot one this summer, with temperatures currently at a shocking 11.0 degrees above average and no cool downs in sight. Capital Weather Gang predicts we’re set to match–if not top–1945 for hottest March ever recorded. (via Washington Post)
  • You know D.C. drivers are batsh*t crazy when the police have to gently remind us of basic ruled of the road like, oh, not mowing down pedestrians. (via TBD)
  • Nice work, D.C.–last night’s solidarity march against anti-gay violence drew over 500 people in its march from Columbia Heights to Dupont. (via Borderstan)

    (via Borderstan’s Facebook page)
  • Looking to improve your cooking abilities? Never fear–a handy roundup of D.C. cooking courses is here… (via We Love DC)
  • And if you’re searching for the best in music and food/drink around the city, look no further. (via us, of course)
  • And finally–the latest craze in men’s fitness is…. naked yoga? SFW, BTW. (via Washingtonian)
