  • For our history buffs: today is the 150th anniversary of the first burial at Arlington National Cemetery. After contracting measles, William Christman was buried in the cemetery and a month later the land was designated as a military cemetery. (via USA Today)
  • Legalizing gay marriage could generate $60 million for Virginia in three years due to an estimated 7,000 same-sex couples looking to get married. (via WJLA)
