WHEREIN: We bring you the developments (happening in and around DC) that we think are newsworthy, or, at the very least, almost newsworthy.

  • If you have any friends, family or people you met once at a party and became Facebook friends with that live in Prince George’s County, you may want to invite them over. More than 100,000 folks may not have water for the next few days. A shutdown has been averted, but restrictions on water remain. In other words, everything might be OK. Also, it is hot outside. Possible no water + hot = bad. (via Washington Post)
  • Remember that panda at the National Zoo that ran away? He will not be running away again. He’s under 24-hour surveillance. Sounds like a real bummer. No one likes to be grounded. (via WTOP)

  • The Washington Humane Society is suffering from a Catnado. This means they have too many cats. So they want you to adopt a cat. And they’ve made some great art to make you want to adopt a cat. (via DCist)
