WHEREIN: We bring you the developments (happening in and around D.C.) that we think are newsworthy, or, at the very least, almost newsworthy:

  • RIP Town (via Blade)
  • The Metro is staying open until midnight on July 4th but I highly recommend you stay as far away from it as possible. It’s always packed with tourists that night and it’s always the worst. (via Post)
  • We did it, guys! D.C. and Baltimore drivers are the worst drivers in the country! We won! (via WTOP)

  • A man got attacked with an ax outside of the Metro because life is a slasher movie. (via Post)
  • If you want to have nightmares, read this story on whether a London-esque apartment fire could happen in D.C. (via WAMU)
  • Also, Megabuses keep crashing on H Street and no one knows why (PS – It’s because Megabus is the worst). (via GGW)

  • White Supremacy posters have appeared in Bloomingdale because the world is a vampire. (via City Paper)
  • D.C. residents can now get gender neutral drivers licenses! (via Fox5)
  • And we get a brand new art venue. What a good week. (via DCMD)

  • Can D.C.’s Caliburger scratch your In-N-Out itch? (via DC Refined)
  • If you have some time, Bardo got in a Twitter fight with some local bikers and it is very amusing. (via DCist)
