WHEREIN: We bring you the developments (happening in and around D.C.) that we think are newsworthy, or, at the very least, almost newsworthy:
- Even if all of the cherry blossoms in the world die, the Cherry Blossom Festival will go on. (via WAMU)
- Surprise! Metro hasn’t been handling SafeTrack very well. (via WAMU)
- Just like all of your cool friends, the Mayor spent some time at SXSW. (via Post)
- Bombay Bistro turns 25! (via Eater)
- Two more Shake Shacks are coming to the District. (via Washingtonian)
- People are angry that kids had a delayed school day yesterday. I guess some people just don’t like fun. (via Fox)
- A design library is opening in Shaw. I don’t really know what that means or how useful it will be, but I am intrigued. (via Post)
- And a photo lab is coming to H Street! (via POPville)
- Look at these animals playing in the snow. The storm might have been underwhelming as hell, but it was worth it for this.
