WHEREIN: We bring you the developments (happening in and around D.C.) that we think are newsworthy, or, at the very least, almost newsworthy…
- D.C. Statehood is back on the menu.
- Meet D.C.’s Pride parade grand marshals. Our Pride party is tonight! Come kick off a month of good stuff with us.
- The Kennedy Center is going to kick off the opening of their new expansion with a free festival.
- We loved the Short Eats pop-up at Ten Tigers and we’re glad they’re back. Also, I guess you can do yoga there now too?
- And speaking of food, Eater has a helpful map of the best crab cakes in the area. I am a snob, so I don’t order crab cakes at restaurants (homemade only baby), but that doesn’t mean you shouldn’t have fun.
- A new paella spot is coming to Glover Park. Jaleo and Barcelona better watch their backs.
- Want something to do on a Monday night? Maybe you should join D.C.’s newest tasting club. Eating is the best hobby / my only hobby.
- Can you spell the word most of D.C. can’t?
- I highly recommend you spend your weekend checking out the Monument Quilt on the National Mall.
- And don’t forget to hit up the newest exhibition at the National Museum of Women in the Arts.
