WHEREIN: We bring you the developments (happening in and around D.C.) that we think are newsworthy, or, at the very least, almost newsworthy…
- Remember Snowmageddon?
- The car sharing app Getaround could be causing some of the District’s more recent car thefts. Especially since car owners who list their vehicles on Getaround must leave the keys inside the car and the car’s location is easily available on the app. Quick question, why would anyone do this?
- Speaking of a PR crisis, this local communications expert has some good advice.
- Express Hawkers still haven’t received any money from the GoFundMe campaign that was started right after the paper closed.
- Lemon Collective is closing up shop on their brick-and-mortar location. (But you’ll still see them around D.C.)
- Magic mushrooms miiiiiiight get decriminalized in D.C. Maybe.
- Instead of getting drunk and going to Taco Bell, you can get drunk while you eat Taco Bell at Taco Bell Cantina. It’s coming to a Columbia Heights near you.
- Tommy Siets has nice things to say about Emilie’s. As did we.
- A new type of bougie cafe / convenience store is coming to the District.
- Lululemon is taking over the Uniqlo store on F Street. I’m still so mad.
- Hamilton is coming back. Kiss your paycheck goodbye.
